How Your Campus Directory and WarnMe Contact Information Is Used
UC Davis uses Web-site-collected personal information for the purpose of future communication back to you in accordance with existing University policy set forth in UC Davis Policy and Procedure Manual, Section 310-70 Exhibit A.
Campus Directory contact information is published in the UC Davis online and printed directories that you specify. Information you choose not to have published is used to contact you in the event of a campus emergency using the WarnMe emergency notification service.
WarnMe contact information is used only for the purpose of notifying you in the event of an emergency. Only official campus personnel have access to the WarnMe emergency notification service, and they will only use them for emergency-related messages.
UC Davis Respects Your Privacy
UC Davis is committed to protecting personal privacy and the personal information collected via its departmental and official Web pages in accordance with existing University policy set forth in UC Davis Policy and Procedure Manual, Section 310-70 Exhibit A.
Access to electronically collected personal information and IP addresses is in accordance with existing University policy governing disclosure of personal information including UC Davis Policy and Procedure Manual, Section 320-20, Section 320-21, Section 320-35, and Section 320-36.
UC Davis will not sell personal information to third-party organizations such as telemarketers or direct mailers.
